Once the oil begins to shimmer, add the onion and cook, stirring often, until starting to soften, about 5 minutes. Grilled corn or just boiled (previously frozen) corn with butter and salt makes another great, easy side dish. Set the Instant Pot to sauté and add the olive oil. Then of course plenty of cheese and sour cream. I usually always serve this chili with baked potatoes (I mean in baked potatoes) or with Homemade Cornbread. When the oil is hot and shimmering, add the turkey, onion, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. I let it thaw in the fridge for a day then reheat and put it in their Thermoses. Set an Instant Pot to saute and drizzle in the olive oil. Add the beef then sprinkle with cumin, chili powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Plus it freezes well so I save what’s left for my kids school lunches. Add the oil to the liner of a 6- or 8-quart Instant Pot and set to sauté. I keep ground beef in the freezer so like I said I have everything on hand, I usually always stock bell peppers too (for fajitas and what not) but if I don’t have one I just skip it.
